Momina Mustehsan is a Pakistani singer, songwriter, musician and activist. In 2017, the BBC named her one of the 100 Most Influential Women and the following year, Forbes listed her on the Asian "30 Under 30" list along with nine other Pakistanis. Mustehsan then sang "Awari" for the Indian horror film Ek Villain. In Season 9, she performed "Afreen Afreen" by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, starring Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and was to critical acclaim. Mustehsan's subsequent albums, the singles "Aaya Na Tu" and "Baari", topped the charts in the country. Her song, Uchiyaan Dewara, topped the 40th official Asia chart in November 2020. In addition to her singing career, Mustehsan has also performed on stage, being a celebrity supporting brands and products, while also leading actively humanitarian activities. She promotes various causes such as education and mental health, and speaks specifically on issues such as the role of women in Pakistan and feminism.
