Sir Reginald Carey "Rex" Harrison is an English actor. Harrison began his stage career in 1924. He made his West End debut in 1936 when he appeared in Terence Rattigan's play French Without Tears, which was his groundbreaking role. He won his first Tony for his role as Henry VIII in the play Anne of a Thousand Days in 1949. He won the second Tony for his role as Professor Henry Higgins in the 1957 film My Fair Lady. In his career, Harrison has also appeared in many films. Her first lead role was opposite Vivien Leigh in the romantic comedy Storm in a Teacup. Received critical acclaim for her performance in Major Barbara, filmed in London in The Blitz, her roles since then include Blithe Spirit, Anna and the King of Siam, The Ghost, and Mrs. Muir, Cleopatra, My Fair Lady, plays Henry Higgins, which won him the Oscar for best actor and main character in Doctor Dolittle.
