Prince will always be viewed as a beloved music icon, but in February of 2011, fans were praising him for a whole different reason!

A video taken at one of the Grammy winner's concerts in NYC has resurfaced after his sudden death on April 21 — and it's all because of the woman he brought on stage, Kim Kardashian.

In the cringe-worthy clip, Prince invites the reality star to dance during his set at Madison Square Garden, but her lack of enthusiasm and refusal to bust a move gets her kicked off by the "Purple Rain" hitmaker himself!

“Get off the stage,” he tells the mortified beauty.

At the time, Kim, who attended the concert with her BFF Jonathan Cheban and then-fiancé Kris Humphries, attempted to explain her behavior on Twitter:

I was so nervous I froze when Prince touched me!!!!

As Life & Style previously reported, the singer died Thursday at his home in Minnesota at the age of 57. An autopsy is expected to be performed today.
